Each year, Frankel Zacharia works to ensure that as a company, they are giving back to the community in a variety of ways, especially so around the holiday season. This year, Frankel Zacharia brought together a collection of items in need for the Siena/Francis house this holiday season. Over the course of a few weeks, with a combined total between in-kind donations and funds raised to purchase goods for the shelter, a total of over $5,000 was raised. These items and dollars will go towards helping those in need through the holiday season stay warm, stay clean, and have food to eat. As a company, Frankel Zacharia decided to dedicate this year’s “giving back” to the Siena/Francis house, which is the largest shelter in Nebraska.
In addition to collecting donations and necessities, many of the staff also volunteered their time one evening to help with serving meals to the homeless on December 7th. We had a total of 10 individuals who spent a few hours both bringing the items to Siena/Francis and staying to help prepare then serve the meals to that evening’s residents.
